By the Numbers

Half way through the school year here, a "summary for investors" seems appropriate. What is the scope and fruit of our family's ministry in Cameroon? Though numbers can't do justice in describing relationships and some of the deepest aspects of missionary service, I hope the following can at least give a snapshot of what your prayers and donations have yielded via Heidi and me:

208 classes taught

6 sermons preached

1 communion service led

1 chapel talk (and 1 more in about a week)

13 discipleship group meetings led

5 times leading worship

1 couple requesting pre-marital counseling

1 baptism (coming soon)

29 pre-school classes assisted

1 weekly student mentoring relationship

14 times assisting with RFIS running club

7 incidents of nursing counsel & assistance

Gobs of invitations and hospitality

Endless helping of nearby missionary moms

4 days of restorative Christmas vacation at the ocean

...and the reason for all of the above:

2 New Testament translation projects completed by Wycliffe
